Book Review: Murder on Manitou

A novel by Canadian author Diane Bator.

Murder on Manitou may be short but that doesn’t make it any less exciting. This murder mystery is written in a unique style wherein each chapter is written from the point of view of the different characters in the story. That is, every person interviewed by police. Because the murder takes place on a small island, everyone is suspect, and everyone suspects everyone else.

If you’re looking for a quick read, a mystery, and a well-written novel, it’s all here in Murder on Manitou. You will be riveted to the pages wondering ‘whodunnit’ until the very end.

Murder on Manitou is the winning novel of the Wynterblue Publishing 2010 ‘Murder in Ink’ mystery writing contest.

Hi Mary, I have thought about writing book reviews in the past but I have struggled with it. Like your book review and ten to go for crime writing in terms of reading. Anyway, sorry it’s been a long time in communicating with you I want to try and get more writing done one Triond this year. Good luck with your future writings. Andrew
